Coffee Prince

This is a Korean drama that I enjoyed watching. I love Yoon Eun Hye and she did a great job portraying the role wherein she pretended to be a guy. She looks so cute with that short hair.

Sypnosis:

The life of Go Eun Chan (Yoon Eun Hye) is not easy; she works many jobs to pay off debts and even gave up her feminine image. Choi Han Kyul (Gong Yoo) is the heir of a big food company, but his grandmother wants him to settle down, so she arranged many dates for him. After Eun Chan bumped into Han Kyul and was mistaken for a boy, Han Kyul decided to hire Eun Chan to be his gay lover in order to avoid the arranged dates. Desperately in need of money, Eun Chan had no choice but to accept. Han Kyul's grandmother also made Han Kyul in charge of a filthy coffee shop in danger of being bankrupt. Eun Chan begged to work at the coffee shop, and not long after, feelings start to spark, except, how would Han Kyul accept his "homosexuality"?

Endless Love (Summer Scent)

Son Ye Jin is again, one of my favorite Korean actress. Her simple beauty is the main reason why I like her a lot. This is another part of the Endless Love Series. I love all the songs from this drama especially Serenade by Schubert. I compiled some of the songs from this drama together with a slideshow. Hope you like it!

Story:

Yoo Min-woo's (Song Seung Heon) first love was Soh Eun-hye (Jo Shin Ae). However, Eun-hye gets into a car accident and dies.Without Yoo Min-Woo's knowledge her parents decide to donate her organs. Another character, Shim Hye-won (Son Ye Jin) had suffered from a terrible heart disease ever since childhood. Miraculously, she finds that she will be obtaining a heart from a donor, the lately deceased Soh Eun-hye.

Suffering from the pain of a heartache Min-woo goes to Italy to study, with the memories of Eun-hye still resting in his heart. When he returns to Korea, fate takes a turn and brings Hye-won and Min-woo together. When the two first meet, Hye-won's heart (Eun-hye's heart), oddly beats faster when she is around Min-woo.

Park Jung-jae (Ryu Jin) is Hye-won's boyfriend.Jung-Jae's sister, Park Jung-ah (Han Ji Hye) meets Min-woo in Italy and falls for him.

Hye-won doesn't know why or what she feels when she's with Min-woo. Min-woo feels guilt towards Eun-hye, because the feeling of love rises once again as he continues to see Hye-won.

Through coincidence, Min-Woo ends up being hired as the Art Director for Jung-jae's project "Summer Scent" and Hye-won as their florist.Hiding their prior encounter at the forest they awkwardly said "Hello" as if they first met.During the project their fondness grew, within Min-woo's eyes he saw resemblances between Eun-Hye and Hye-Won. Hye-won on the other hand believed that it was fate, her ever pacing heart whenever near Min-woo. Their fondness for each other soon came under suspicion in the eyes of Jung-ah and later Jung-jae.Jung-jae decides to turn a blind eye due to his love for Hye-won.Now Hye-won, confused as to whether her feelings are true decides to leave Min-woo and trying to comfort her guilt towards Jung-jae and Jung-ah she returns to Jung-jae's side.

To forget Hye-won, Min-woo decides to leave for Italy indefinitely but only after seeing her one last time.At her wedding Min-woo caught one last glance at her then left. With Min-woo near, Hye-won's heart gave signs of his presence and soon alerted her gaze towards Min-woo departing.Desperately chasing after him Hye-won collapses.

Min-woo rushes Hye-won to the hospital with Jung-jae arriving a little later.Jung-jae angry at Min-woo tells him to leave for Italy. Min-woo agrees to leave only after Hye-won had regained consciousness.Soon, Hye-won wakes up and deeply angered Jung-jae forbids Min-woo to meet, ordering him to leave immediately. As a promise to Hye-won, Min-woo agreed to leave if Hye-won decides to have her operation.Without it she would definitely die.

Soon after his arrival in Italy, Min-woo receives a letter notifying him that Hye-won had died during the operation.

3 years later, with memories of Hye-won in his heart Min-woo returns to Korea as a manager of an Art Centre.Hye-won having survived the operation, Eun-hye's heart now replaced with an artificial one wants to feel her heart beat like before.Believing that true love will guide her to fated love.On his way up the steps at the Art Centre and on her way down after her delivery, they meet again. Endless Love ( Autumn in my Heart)

I love, love this drama. It's heartwarming and it made me cry. This was the first time I saw Song Hye Gyo and she really captured my heart. She's one of my favorite Korean actress.

Story:
The story begins during the teenage years of the two main characters: Yoon Joon Suh (played by Choi Woo Hyuk and Yun Eun Suh (played by Moon Geun Young). They are the children of a rich professor and believed they are biologically brother and sister until Eun Suh gets in an accident. At the beginning, Eun Suh is very popular in school whereas Shin Ae is smart but does not get the attention she craves from the teacher and their classmates. Later, their situations were reversed when the switch was discovered.

After the blood tests were carried out by the doctor on Mr. and Mrs. Yun for Eun Suh's tranfusion, the Yun found out that Eun Suh belongs to a Mrs. Choi and Choi Shin Ae (played by Lee Ae Jeong), is the Yun's biological daughter. At first, only the parents of Shin Ae and Eun Suh knew about this, but eventually, Shin Ae discovered the truth after she got into a fierece argument with her non biological mother over a teddy bear she received from her biological father. Eun Suh only discovered the truth after Shin Ae wanted her biological parents to take her in.

In the end, the two daughters were returned to their rightful parents. Eun Suh now lives with the Choi family where her biological father is dead and her widowed mother operates a small restaurant living in poverty.

Years went by, and in the duration, the Yun family went to the United States. where Joon Suh(now played by Song Seung Heon) returns to South Korea as a successful artist. He went back to the town where he lived in, where he encountered his old friend, Han Tae seok (played by Won Bin). They both stay at the hotel where Eun Suh(now played by Song Hye Gyo) works as a telephone receptionist. Tae seok fell in love with Eun Suh and played many games with her until she was fired from her job. One day Eun Suh saw Joon Suh and followed him to the beach where he was with Yumi(his fiancee) and Tae Sook and the two "siblings" finally meet after 10 years.

Both Eun Suh and Joon Suh pretended to have a sibling relationship in front of others at first but Shin Ae(now played by Han Chae Young) angry at Eun Suh for taking away Tae Seok, exposed the two after she found a love letter Eun Suh had written to Joon Suh.

As a fight between Joon Suh and Tae Seok grows over their professed love for Eun Suh, She discovers she has leukemia(same illness that took her biological father's life). She didn't tell anyone until the disease was at a terminal stage. All hope was lost by now, and Eun Suh died as Joon Suh was carrying her around the beach where they spent her birthday as teenagers.

Before Eun Suh died, she told Joon Suh not to follow her in death and to continue living. However, Joon Suh's grief striken by the death of his lover and "sister", allowed himself to be struck by a truck(ironically the story starts with EUn Suh being struck by a truck), and he died after.
